Role of the Team Organiser

  • Recruitment and retention of team members.
  • Securing his or her team a place in a Competition of choice by submitting the Registration Form and Entry Fee at the earliest opportunity.
  • Ensuring that each team member has a uniform shirt. T-shirts, Polo shirts and Football shirts are permitted.
  • Ensuring that each team member is familiar with the Laws of SUB Football.
  • Checking the team's fixture list and ensuring that each team member knows where and when each game is to be played.
  • Ensuring that all team members arrive at the Competition Venue to be able to start play on time.
  • Ensuring that all players are wearing a uniform shirt before entering the field of play.
  • Ensuring that no player is wearing football boots with metal or rigid plastic studs or cleats.
  • Encouraging team members to observe the Laws of SUB Football and respect the referee's decisions.
  • Working out a system to ensure that all squad members get an equal amount of playing time.
  • When applicable, ensuring that all team members assist in the dismantling and transfer of goals, nets, and try boards at the conclusion of play.
  • Ensuring that the referee is given the match ball and all bibs used at the end of the game.
  • Giving SUB Football Network advance warning if the team has to default a game.
  • Ensuring that any team member sent off during a game complies with the stand down penalty specified by SUB Football.
  • Liaising with SUB Football Network in the event of any problems.
